CEO

Alice commenced as CEO for the Committee for the Hunter in March 2020.

Alice is widely regarded as a leader in public policy, with a focus on infrastructure, industry development and attraction, urban planning and regional development. Her career spans the public and private sectors including as the National Lead on Cities and Regions with global Big 4 firm, KPMG, and as senior advisor on cities and infrastructure to former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

Through her career, Alice has championed new approaches to regional development. This includes the ambitious Western Sydney City Deal, which involved eight councils partnering with the Commonwealth and NSW governments in a long-term plan for jobs, skills and training, international investment, better transport and liveability.

Alice holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University, and a Master of International Law and International Relations from the University of NSW.
