Wupa is the Wanaruah word meaning 'to make' or 'to paint'.

The Ungooroo Aboriginal Corporation invites you to the Wupa at Wanaruah Art Exhibition to be held at Nightingale Winery, Milbrodale road, Broke on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September.

Two exciting and dynamic local Wanaruah artists, Denise Hedges and Les Elvin will be exhibiting the stories of their people and their culture through the use of traditional symbolism and colours in their art.

This exhibition will provide the people of the Hunter and surrounding areas with an insight into the rich and vibrant culture of the Wanaruah people.

How will the Future Look?

Visit this fascinating site to understand how David Holmgren, a great leader in the Australian initiated Permaculture movement, describes our journey back through the looking glass.

We are running out of oil, our food costs are spiralling and our leaders quibble about 5 cents on the price of fuel.

This is the website of a real leader.
